About Anne

P1120783I was elected to be a Common Councilman for the Ward of Tower on 16 March 2016.

I was born and brought up in London – I care about the City and want to see the people who live and work here prosper.

I work for Nationwide Building Society on Threadneedle Street.  As a City worker I am keen to make the City a better place to live, work and do business in.

I have built my career by campaigning on business issues, from representing small businesses to working for financial institutions over 15 years in London and Brussels.  I am drawing on my experience of building coalitions and influencing politicians and policy makers to benefit the City and those who live and work here.  This is particularly important following the vote to leave the EU.

We need to keep the City vibrant so that it remains the number one choice for businesses and visitors alike. As well as making sure those that call the City home, or simply commute in every day, have a safe, clean environment to live and work in.

So whether it’s helping to iron out issues when roads are dug up, advocating for the City or using my experience from working for the recruitment sector to make sure businesses in the City draw on the talents of all Londoners – I will be your champion.
